Does Talentsoft support ‘Skill gap identification’?

Talentsoft’s Talent Review process offers an easy access to decision-making tools such as the mobility area functionality. Managers and HR are able to identify potential gaps between an employee’s current competencies and the skills required for the desired job. The solution allows to seamlessly suggest an action plan (i.e. training, coaching) to fill the identified competency gap.

Competence management and GAP analysis for identification of gaps in skills and competencies across an organization to be used for talent development, acquisition, and retention strategies.

Radar charts can be accessed for an employee to get an overview of which jobs would fit the employee based on known skills and required job skills. The reverse is also possible looking for employees that could fit a chosen job position. A GAP analysis (spider chart) can be shown by selecting an employee and a job position where the required skills for the job are shown in combination with the known skills of the employee.

Can Talentsoft support ‘Strategic succession management’, to identify and develop talent and leaders to replace future gaps in the organization?

In Talentsoft’s Talent review module, potential successors can be found to any employee, or an employee can be proposed as a successor. Talentsoft has multiple ways of making the succession planning more accurate, e.g. through competence matching, where a potential successor’s competences will be matched against the current employee to see how well they fit the role based on their competences on a scale form 1-100%. Results of succession planning can easily be visualised in an organisational chart view.
