Taking into account this simple fact, TalentSoft had the idea to develop a programme dedicated to the medium-sized companies. Medium-sized companies have an optimal size, from 250 to 5000 employees, to be independant, agile and reagent in times of crisis. Their ability to take fast decisions and their pro-activity bring them to set up direct and personalised "human strategies" to manage at best their talents. They look for flexible technological tools and fastly implementable to lead their Job and Competency Planning strategies, with a strong visibility on their teams.
Since January 2009, TalentSoft proposes to Human Resources Departments and original approach of free and personalised trial ("Try and Buy") of its modular solution. This offer, called TS 10 and dedicated to the on-line appraisals of employees, is unique on the market of the Talent Management software in SaaS mode because she allows to test the solution within the personalised environment of the company.
Firstly, TS 10 allows Human Resources departments to obtain on-line personalised appraisal interviews forms of their employees in just 10 days (dematerialisation of their paper or Excel forms and integration of employees datas).
Then, begins the test of the solution phase, free and without any commitment during two weeks, via a personalised and securized access to Internet. If the trial is found to be positive, the HR director will be able to manage on-line and in real-time its appraisal campaigns : organisation, monitoring (statistics and e-mail reminders), results analysis and reporting. Throughout the programme, and during the test phase and then the implementation, a TalentSoft expert will accompany the HR director in the management and follow-up of his appraisal campaign.
Leader of the distribution by catalog and internet of industriel components and stationery, the Radiospares company, a French subsidiary of the international group Electrocomponents, adopted the "TS 1" programme in March 2009. In a very short lapse of time, Radiospares wished to revitalize its competency initiative and supplied to its Human Resources department the means to organize and to pilot its annual appraisal campaign. One of the major stakes was to liven up to its job and competency framework while optimizing the time spent by managers on the preparation of their teams' evaluations.
The "TS 10" programme perfectly mets the needs of the group. In a 10 days schedule, the TalentSoft solution allowed to strengthen the data of about 500 employees, to dematerialize the existing appraisal forms, and to link the job and competency framework to these last ones.
The HR team then tested the solution during two weeks and was quickly convinced to manage its entire appraisail campaign with TalentSoft. The campaign was launched by the beginning of April 2009, hardly one month after the employees data transmission and appraisal forms by Radiospares. Thanks to user-friendly decision-making dashboards, the HR director of the group disposed of real-time trends indicators, illustrating information brought out during the interviews: performance, competencies, mobility, training …
Registered in a logic of "no paper" sustainable development , the dematerialization of the evaluation process was an important criterion for Radiospares in its choice for a Job and Competency Planning solution.
Six months after its launch, the "TS 10" programme showed its ability and established a new standard combining personalised free trial, speed of implementation and satisfaction of Human Resources departments.
